Compost Site Update

Beginning Saturday, October 19, Town of Richmond residents are allowed to use the City of New Richmond Compost Site on a trial basis for Fall 2024.

To use the City Compost Site, pick up a permit card for each load at the Town of Richmond Recycle Center during regular Saturday hours, from 9 am to 1 pm. In addition to the completed permit card, a photo ID will be required at the City compost site, as is the case for all City of New Richmond residents. Do not attempt to use the City compost site without a load permit from the Town of Richmond. There is no charge for the permit card.

For information on hours of operation at the compost site, please check the City website, as hours vary.
Current hours for the fall are Tuesdays from 4:00PM-6:00PM and Saturdays from 8:00AM-2:00PM
