Make Your Plan to Vote in the November 5th General Election: Presidential Elections produce high voter turnout. Please plan ahead for a stress free experience! 1. Check your registration and register to vote if necessary using the website myvote.wi.govYou can register to vote on election day, but you should expect to wait in line, and you must have the necessary proof of residence documentation with you. 2. If you would like to vote absentee, you can request a ballot be mailed to you, or you can vote absentee in person during the two week period before the election. Absentee ballots begin mailing on September 19th and continue through October 31st as requests are received.  3. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th. The polls will be open from 7 am until 8 pm. You must show a valid photo ID. Election 2020

Town of Richmond voters turned out in large numbers to vote in the 2020 General Election. There were 1317 absentee (including mailed & in-person) ballots, and 1082 election day voters for a total of 2399 votes cast. See unofficial results here. Our poll workers did an amazing job, working from 6:30 am until 10 pm, and voters were respectful and orderly. The weather cooperated to make it a great day for democracy in the township.
