Make Your Plan to Vote in the November 5th General Election: Presidential Elections produce high voter turnout. Please plan ahead for a stress free experience! 1. Check your registration and register to vote if necessary using the website myvote.wi.govYou can register to vote on election day, but you should expect to wait in line, and you must have the necessary proof of residence documentation with you. 2. If you would like to vote absentee, you can request a ballot be mailed to you, or you can vote absentee in person during the two week period before the election. Absentee ballots begin mailing on September 19th and continue through October 31st as requests are received.  3. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th. The polls will be open from 7 am until 8 pm. You must show a valid photo ID. TESTING ELECTRONIC VOTING EQUIPMENT FOR THE GENERAL ELECTION

According to Wis. Stats. 5.84(1) Testing Equipment, the electronic voting equipment must be tested at a public meeting. The DS200 and Expressvote electronic voting system which utilize automatic tabulating equipment will be tested on the following date:
