Make Your Plan to Vote in the November 5th General Election: Presidential Elections produce high voter turnout. Please plan ahead for a stress free experience! 1. Check your registration and register to vote if necessary using the website myvote.wi.govYou can register to vote on election day, but you should expect to wait in line, and you must have the necessary proof of residence documentation with you. 2. If you would like to vote absentee, you can request a ballot be mailed to you, or you can vote absentee in person during the two week period before the election. Absentee ballots begin mailing on September 19th and continue through October 31st as requests are received.  3. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th. The polls will be open from 7 am until 8 pm. You must show a valid photo ID. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Thursday, November 9, 2023, immediately following the completion of the Public Hearing on the proposed 2024 Budget, which begins at 6 P.M. at the Richmond Town Hall, 1428 100th St, New Richmond, A Special Town Meeting of the Electors, called by the town board, pursuant to Section 60.12(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statutes, will be held for the following purposes: 1. To adopt the 2023 Town Tax Levy to be paid in 2024 pursuant to Sec. 60.10(1) (a) of the Wis. Statutes.
